Interesting. As someone who has been interested in the Parf Dogs but hasn't bought any yet, anyone want to give me some buying advice as to what I should get?

I did receive the email regarding shipping cost and completed the transaction. Two Super Dogs and the chamfer tool. I think the dogs will be a great addition to my MFTs.

The chamfer functions they same ways as a lock washer on a bolt.

Dog with a chamfer will sit more securely when you use a knob to lock the dog in place under the table.  Someone using a dog to align a track for a track saw or a router can have 100% confidence the dog won’t slip slightly out of alignment when they’re making a cut on a track. 

The chamfer locks the dog in place giving you the confidence your dog is perfectly aligned.

Spot on - it keeps the Super Dog perpendicular to the bench top.

I heard today that back orders are being handled now and stock will appear on the Axminster web site very soon. The same goes for the Parf Guide System where new machinery and tooling has been installed especially to speed up production.
