New Product - Veritas® MFT Clamping Kit

I just got my MFT Clamp kit today and could not be happier. The quality is absolutely First Class, and it even has room for the Qwas Dogs I have. I asked for the 19.9 mm dogs, and Lee Valley sent me those too (total of 12 dogs - 4 at 19.9mm). The 2 pictures below show the contents of the Systainer and how my Qwas dogs fit in there easily.

So if you didn't already own the Qwas Dogs, would you still buy them, or do the exact fitting dogs of the LV kit do essentially at least the job of being a good enough fit for alignment on the MFT instead of the fence that comes with the MFT.

I already own the LV kit, and did have the 19.9's sent out to me, which fit snug and perfect imo, but was wondering if there is any merit to possibly getting the Qwas dogs also.  Like I mentioned, I would be looking solely to use the QD's in lieu of the fence on my MFT.

I am a Tool-Aholic also.  Can't even bring myself to sell my old biscuiter that I haven't used in four years since I bought my Domino.  Then again, I tend to give tools/stuff away rather than sell them.  I feel for my tools, and feel that they go to a better home when given rather than sold.  [wink]

I also see that you have 0.740" dia bench pins (item 05F16.01 - $6.95 each) available. Are you going to offer these (or even better, Parf Dogs! http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-sales-dealer-area/parf-dogs/) in the "20mm size"?

Yes - we still have some 19.90mm dogs...

Pr Small Dogs - 05G4912 - $13.50
Pr Large Dogs - 05G4913 - $15.50

If you're looking at the kits - we supply the .780" size, but if you give customer service a shout, they'll be glad to swap them for you.

I'd certainly like to offer the Parf Dogs, or something similar.... but no immediate plans....
