There ya go, yer a fast learner Phil, No proof then it didnt happen.

LOL... usually my line is, "YouTube or it didn't happen!" -- but Festool has more stringent rules (readas: pending approval, slower for me to publish) on video capture.  Stay tuned mate!

Actually, if there are any specific angles or areas on any of the new products coming out that anybody would like to see... for example, "inside of the SYS-MFT"... or "Carvex corded vs Carvex cordless physical profile comparison"... drop your requests here and I'll try to capture as many photos meeting your criterias as possible.

Pics from our little SNEAKPEEK

Ok, now I'm curious, why would you want a package of 4 jigsaws?

LOL... that's just a demo carrier set for Festool Sales Reps ::)

We can't really know that if you only post the pic without explanation, now can we.

Sorry about that.  Running around the shop, nature of retail.  Notes have been added.

Yup. Even MORE New Products for Dec. 1st!
A real GREEN **Christmas** for us all!

New FUSION-TEC Sanding Pads are now officially announced!  I stumbled across these bad boys last year when I received Festool Automotive Systems training, and K-119's had them for about a year now.  Launched as part of the LEX3 Air Sander System, the FUSION-TEC backing pads are now standard pads for ETS 150 models, while also fitting older hex-screw type RO 150.

Advantage and benefits of the FUSION-TEC Pads are increased glass fiber reinforced resin in the backing plate portion reducing deflection (LEX3 runs higher RPM than LEX2), ensuring smoother, truer operation and increased durability for the pad as well as machine (less wobble means good for bearings!).  Soft (black) and Hard (blue) pads earn HT rating for High Temperature durability during coarse sanding applications.  As always Multi-JetStream is supported, and a thinner Hard pad (stronger back plate enables this) further improves stiffness and less deflection as well as also improves dust evacuation (shorter distance to travel).

Short answer -- FUSION-TEC is a higher performing pad that will last you longer.

498986 Fusion-Tec MJ Pad SS D150 (Super Soft) $42.00
498987 Fusion-Tec MJ Pad Soft D150 (Longlife) $44.00
498988 Fusion-Tec MJ Pad Hard D150 $42.00

Also, CT MINI and CT MIDI vacs will now feature T-LOC Integration!

Hello, It looks like the 2 sysports/ one smaller one on top of wheeled cabinet. Do they just bolt together? Are the bolts supplied? Thank-you in advance. [smile]

Very good question.  I don't recall holes / bolts, though that seems like a very very good idea.  Let me do a physical check tomorrow when I get to the shop in the morning.  Stay tuned :)

Heyo good morning!  Physical check confirms NO pre-drilled holes on the SYS-Ports (1000 and 500, tall and short).  Called Festool USA for an official answer, and they strongly suggest bolting them together by physically drilling in.  Depending how high you would like to go (two 1000's gets pretty tall), I'd even add an earthquake strap on the top for safety.

Hope this helps :)

Will the new T-Loc Hose Garage be available by itself as an accessory to replace the current one on my less than year old CT-MIDI?

No. They changed the shape of the motor housing too, so they're not compatible.

Heya P2P,

Jonny is correct.  Not only has the hood (top black portion, with latches/t-loc) changed, but also the housing (the white part immediately beneath).  You do have my interest in finding out if a conversion is possible, and whether the cost would make economical sense.  I've looked over both CT Mini parts breakdowns (classic type vs T-Loc), and may have stumbled upon a misprint which I've filed with Festool USA for clarification.

Will follow up in the coming week with my findings.  Stay tuned!

--- edit ---

Not misprint, no mistake on Festool USA's parts breakdown.  EKAT just didn't like tab browsing so the parts breakdowns weren't displaying correctly.  But still, I'd like to get Festool USA's Parts & Service Department's final answer for fitment before I commit a final answer to you.  Hang tight.

Heya good morning!

Per Festool USA Service Department's final verdict -- nope, new T-Loc housing will not fit old "Classic" style CT Mini / Midi.

Sorry mate  :-\
