New Products for 2011

$800 for US costumers..... I don't even want to know how much it will be for us in Canada... That one won't be a hot seller....

technically it is cheaper then the current wings with the table.

Not saying much but, it is. [unsure]

I'll wait till it becomes part of the promotional special.  I understand the reason behind the higher prices on most Festools, but as a simple accessory, not some power tool, it's highly overpriced.  I think Festool and Christian will see that by the amount of sales through 2011.  We shall see...

Maybe the UL fee jacked up the stand's price :)

The Shinex caught my eye and like Greg would love to see a micro-site.  (I do unix :))

And I'm also pleasantly surprised by the workcenter pricing.  I have a shelf added to my CT-22 that I constantly load up because it's "right there".  The WCM will only make that worse, but in a good way!  Hmm, can we order heavier duty wheels for the CT-22?!?!

Out of curiosity, I looked up light, high quality, convertible hand trucks like delivery people use and they go for upward of $350. They are mass-marketed also. I'm pretty sure UPS, alone, has over 4000 of one model.

'Just another data point...

Happy to hear the WCR is less than $400. I was hoping for 350-400 at the most. At 375 its a purchase, at over 400 it would be a no go. If I buy a Shinex maybe I'll be able to keep my bike clean. Since I thankfully don't own a Krappex but love any chance to bash it, it seems Festool continues to be a little full of themselves with all things Krapp'ex. Prices for those accessories really seem too high to be reasonable. As much as I love the 'Festool system' dynamics. the 'Krappex system' is just too much of a dollar investment for a chop saw.

After a hard year use with my Kapex, I still say it is the single best tool purchase I have ever made.
That saw stacks the benny's up in the bank account for sure.

You paid 600 bucks for a drill, what is 1300 for a saw. [poke]

Shinex, Shinex....

It will debut in 45 days, and still no information.....

Another one invisible treasure. No information = No interest = No sales
and opposite
Information = FOG buzz = Interest = More Sales

Is it in the same container with LR-32 spacers?

Darcy, you really know how to hurt a guy where it counts.  [big grin] I hate thinking about what the T15 cost me except when I;m using it.

There are several new products for 2011, as you already know.

Here are some highlights of the new offerings...

February
Shinex Polisher                  - $400

March
Kapex UG with extensions - $800
Work Center, WCR 1000    - $375
RO 90                                 - $375

The timing is still projected but is likely pretty accurate. There are lots of abrasives and accessories also. I'll detail them later.

I'm taking pre-pre-orders by email or phone. It won't do us any good to authorize a credit card yet because it will expire prior to shipping and we'll just have to do it again.

Tom

Hi Tom do you have pictures of the Kapex UG with extensions?
