I've heard that new brushless et's sanders could be announced soon but no hard evidence.

The Vecturo will be on the shelves next week, at least in Germany. I am really curious to see if that plunge guide attachment fits the Fein Supercut as well. It looks like it has a quick release metal collar that is attached to the tool. I guess this collar is the key to whether it would work on the Fein?

Also, no cordless version coming this time around. I wonder why?

My guess is that a cordless Vecturo would be adequate for the needs of so many people that it would greatly decrease the sales of the corded version. I think a cordless version will be out in a year or so.

To repeat, again, I want a cordless Vecturo. Do I need one? Maybe, maybe not, but I want one. It is tool lust, plain and simple.

Yea. That's pretty much what I've been thinking too. It's a shame the cordless version will be a long time away.

Good news is that it looks like there is an adapter to make the plunge guide work on the Fein. I am waiting for a confirmation. I am happy to stick with the orange version if that is the case.
