Hi,
I purchased the Seneca parallel guides a while back and now I have had some time to work with them I find the scale that comes with the Incra tracks is a weak link to the system. First you need to cut about 8" off to account for the track making the scale 8" short of the track. Second is the fact that you need to align each 16" section to the other section or sections. This just adds another opportunity to cut pieces the wrong size. I would like to see a continuous one piece scale with both metric and standard dimensions. I would also like to find a way to fix the scale in place once calibrated so it will not move and you don't need to check it every time you pick up the guides to use them. Has anyone found a suitable one piece scale for these tracks?
Thanks,
Gerry
