I need a replacement sole plate for my pin-style Domino joiner.  I have checked Ekat but do not see a separate part number for this.  It seems all I can order is the entire bearer (part number 493900).  I would hate to have to buy all of that for $129 just to get the piece I need.  The sole plate on the bottom of the bearer is attached with a very sticky glue in just the area that it makes contact with the bearer so I know it is a separate item - I just don't see it available for purchase as a separate item.  It is the piece with two holes, two notches and 7 scribed lines for slot alignment.  It is 4 9/16" x 4 3/16" x ~1/32" thick.  Does anyone here know where and how I can get this?

Thanks everyone!  - Jim

Thanks Sparktrician.  I called them and the guy I talked to just reiterated what I saw on EKAT.  "part 34 on the diagram - the entire bearer" is the only way I can get the sole plate.  Seems a bit odd since they have to put those two pieces together to make the bearer.

Any other ideas here?  It looks to be stainless steel.  I don't think I have enough precision skill to make one though.

Just curious, but why do you need a sole plate?

The original message tells why.

I read it a few times. Don't see where it tells why he needs to replace the plate.

Jim, check with a local machine shop, they may fab one for you.

It was damaged (bent) and does not lay flat anymore.  I peeled it off to try to flatten it but just can't get it smooth.  tjbnwi - I will check a machine shop out.  it shouldn't be that hard or expensive to duplicate that piece. RLJ-atl - if I can't get one cheaply made here in town, I will check the svc dept out.  Thanks again everyone!
