Not liking the all plastic construction. this seems more of a shop Dolly, than on site gear, and at festool prices I struggle to find a benefit.

But if you look at Maks photos at the top of the post you will notice that either side of the sustainers are the rail groves and then they are held by the strap
I can put both my 1400 rails and all my tool systainers and pull them across the site with ease, I can stack my systainers 1400 high and still pull with ease
Whilst the cart is made of plastic have faith in the design it's bloody strong and very robust
Oh and when it's loaded and you walking into a customers house it looks the buisness very professional

Never mind guide rails you can put a kapex on it so a big Plus for me as I have two 120s so buying one  of these for moving them around will make sense with one ug set up , also they are tougher than they look when you get your hands on one , I also have the protool trapo  trolley but not sure its going to be better than the new ones as only has the two wheels .

it would be interesting to see some sort of small wheels or a sacrificial slippery wear strip on the back of the handles to prevent wheel on the extrusions when laying the unit down.

I think there is already a wear strip at the back of the wheels for when going up stairs.

I haven't paid a lot of attention to this cart since I didn't want to think about getting one.  Seeing the video is really making me want one.

I'm with you on that Brice.  I can see this as a solution for really mobile comtractors rather than an adaptation from shop based solutions.  My guess is that you have the rolling platform like I do and have had the experience of trying to lift that with 4 or five systainers over a curb.

I agree!  +  some of my draws have drill bits and driver bits and I have tipped my sortainers on their backs before and  when I came to use the draws I couldnt get them open took me ages! I was shaking the boxes about eventually I got them open!  Never again am I tipping my sortainers again.    Also I found some driver bits on my van floor which must of fallen out some how when the sortainer was on its back in my van.

But whilst my stack has two sortainers on it as we'll as three  systainers I don't lay my flat
I have a fully fitted out trailer which all my tools go in so I can keep mine upright at all times  [big grin]
