New Syslite UNI anyone tried it?

Hi

Is there anyone who seen/tried the new SYSLITE UNI ?
How is it compared to the SYSLITE KAL ?
Does i work with all Festool batteries ?

Don't know much about it but that is the rebranded ProTool light.

I have the UNI and KAL. The UNI is a former Protool model.
They both use all kind of Festool and Protool batteries (NiCd, NiMh, Li-ion, 12/15/18V)
The KAL is far more superiour with the total amount of light.
Although the head of the UNI can easily rotated in the right direction and battery life is longer.

If it does work with all batteries I'll probably want my UK friend to bring one over for me on his next trip over -- are you listening my friend???

I have had the ProTool version of the UNI for a few years. It works with Festool Batteries. The light is not very bright when compared to other flashlights.

I have the Protool Uni - bought it a few years back and had a dealer ship it over. 

As others have said, light is not as bright as the Syslite from Festool, but the battery life is better.  it does offer the adjustable head and has a nice carry handle.  But with a Syslite now, I don't use the Protool unit much any more at all.
