New systainer T-loc mini & midi

i saw the midi 3 on lv. was hoping for the midi 2. unless i missed it on lv site? would like to see some pics- thanks!!

Sorry, you're right it is the size 3, I'll edit my earlier post.
 
brice- i would still like to see your review of the 3.

Yes, I believe so. I'll have more info to shate in the next couple of months. And I'm referring to Festool branded versions.
 
There are 2 type of Midi available in Europe from Tanos:
Midi 2
Midi 3
Festool only has the Midi 3, but later there also will be a Midi 2.

Fiddled with a midi the other day and its basicly an oblong systainer for *that* slightly longer tool that doesn't into a regular one but still can stack with a normal systainer, albeit it will protrude at both ends since the T-locks align at the centre.

Still kinda prefer the maxi systainers idea with double trouble systainer connectivity, but wish they would make a 'midi plus' systainer with double T-loc latches and double systainer width to accomodate two normal systainers on top of a midi+ systainer with aligned box ends. (Think two systainers glued to each other endwise)

It was unfortunate that my grinder was too large to fit into a midi so didn't buy one even thou it was on sale. Should have bought one just to experiment.
