Once I had cataract surgery on both eyes and was able to see what 32 years of use can do to kitchen cabinets, I was taken aback, time to get to work. So I got out my sanders and after some looking found the sand paper. I put on a mask and went to work. The dust was too much. There had to be a better way. Searching the internet, I stumbled on Festool, but the prices. The more I read and saw, the more I came to believe my lungs were worth it. Since my 1/4 sheet sander had no dust collection I ordered a CT 36 and RTS 400 along with sand paper and systainer. They arrived I went to work on the rails and stiles of a cabinet door. It was down to bare wood quickly and cleanly. I went in the house and ordered an ETS 125, sand paper and systainer. Everything works so beautifully together. Yesterday my CXS arrived. As Rick said in Casablanca, " I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Welcome to Fog.  It sounds like you are on the slippery slope.  Enjoy using your new toys (tools).

Your poor guy, i feel sorry for you.

You have drunk the green Kool Aid and now have the festool fever.

Your life will change, your bank accounts will drain, your wallet will shiver in fear...

But you'll have a smile on your face and FOG is like a virtual 12 step program that feeds the addiction…  [big grin]

I recommend you sign up for the end user classes  the closest (since your in Kalif) will be the Las Vegas training facility I would take the "Intro to Festools " in particular.

You need to go to :http://www.festooltraining.com/
