New to Fog

Hey all, I wanted to introduce myself as I first found out about FOG while researching the TS55/CT36 package and I am pretty sure that I now have a full fledged Festool addiction/habit. I live in the San Francisco bay area and remodel older homes..... especially love working on Victorian, Craftsman, Tudors, etc.

Festool, for me, has been a complete game changer as I have asthma and the way the tools are made to integrate with dust control has greatly increased my quality of life in addition to the quality of work I am doing. There are some seriously talented folks here and I think its great that you guys are sharing your knowledge. I find myself coming here for advice on tools, projects, business advice and (most importantly) how to make future Festool purchases and stay happily married!

I hope to start contributing real soon.

Welcome aboard Maurice. You'll find everyone here freely gives of their knowledge and experiance. Ive been working with wood going on 19 years. Festool maybe for 3 years. Using Festool take a different approach that Ive learned so much here gleening off everyones generosity sharing their jigs and methodologies along with their videos.
I cruise through the older post and threads and find all sorts of tid bits of info that really help me. Lots of U Tube videos too.
