Hi guys,
I have bought my first Festool, oh what have I done..... I'm already dreaming of it and it's not even here yet. Anyways, I bought a used-once TS 55EQ and am a cabinet maker and finish carpenter. I have a job coming up where I am face lifting a set of kitchen cabinets. On the gables and face frames I plan to laminate on 4mm lacquer finished veneered ply. In the past, wherever there is an outside corner, I have cut the panels to size and then covered the exposed plywood edge with a small solid wood corner molding.
I'm contemplating trying to mitre and glue the outside corners. Do you think this might work using the festool track saw on such a thin and lacquered ply? Anyone tried this before?
