Hmmm... if I bought the new C12 case, I could move my C12 out of the sys 2 I have it in now, and use the sys 2 to hold... well, to hold something else, anyway. Maybe I could use it as  a lunchbox.

Does that mean the just the systainer will be available May 1 as well?  Any idea on price?

It seems that there is a plan to sell the Systainer by itself but it doesn't yet have a schedule.

Festool will make an announcement when they are ready to sell it.

Bruce, I have no idea if or when the new vac will come to us here in the States. However, most tools are first released in the Europe, Australia and other parts of the world then maybe six months to a year later they make their way here.

If you need a good vac now I wouldn't delay. The CT22 is a great tool, you're not likely to be disappointing. If you are you can always return it within 30 days.

I have a Fein that I like but cannot control the suction power and it can bring my ETS 125 to a stop. The Boom arm would make my life easier as I have a lot of sanding to do in the next few months.
