New Trend Router Bits

Just got a new Trend catalogue in the post, and they've got some new graduated router bits:

Seems like one of those ideas that's so good, yet so simple! [big grin]
 
been looking at these for a while and they look hand but not that accurate for final cuts . handy for fast set up on rough cuts

Looks like the gap next to the scale would make it difficuilt to set accurately...  [big grin]
 
[scratch chin] Am I being thick on this or is that not the whole point of a depth adjuster on a router???

It would be handy for setting the approximate depth, so you can then fine-tune it with the fine adjust.
 
Yep, wouldn't bother either.  Plunge to zero it then set the height adjuster.  Probably something the D.I.Y er or occasional user might go for.
 
Manufactures will use any gimmick to make their product appear better then the competitions.
