We're excited to announce several new Festool items coming in time for the holidays, launching on December 1st! These items are on our website for pre-order and, as always, we will not bill your card until the product(s) ship on 12/1. The Centrotec Set has historically been a very popular item and, with its limited availability, tends to sell out very quickly. So, if you're interested in getting one, I would recommend acting quickly.

- Festool 89-Piece Centrotec Set *** WITH SQUARE DRIVE BITS*** $299
- Festool TXS Compact Cordless Drill (the T-handle version of the CXS) $235
- Festool SysLite KAL II (improved version of the SysLite) $195, available also as a SET version with the optional magnetic mount
- Plus, we have the limited edition ZOBO Forstener-style bits in a Mini Systainer, available in metric or imperial sizes

Head over to FestoolProducts.com to order these great new additions to the Festool lineup.

Feel free to post any questions that you might have.

Shane

Wow that centrotec set looks pretty sweet. Its got a few bits that mine doesn't. Particularly the square drive bits. I had to buy mine separate from snappy.

It appears that the square drive bits are not available separately, but maybe [member=57769]TylerC[/member] can confirm.

Having a background working for a company that was deeply rooted in square drive, it's good to see them included. Hopefully, the 4"ers fit into pocket holes.

Good question. Shane is correct that the square drive is not available separately at this time.

Thanks, [member=57769]TylerC[/member]. Can you or Brent tell us if the 100mm (4") square drive bits will fit into a standard Kreg pocket hole?

We can't comment on the compatibility with other systems that we don't design or manufacture. Sorry, guys.

Hmm... ok.  [big grin] [member=57769]TylerC[/member], how about this...

What's the diameter of the shank on the 4" square drive bits?  [wink]

Brent sent me the shank diameters on the square drive.

#1=4mm
#2=5mm
#3=6mm

Kreg pocket holes are 3/8" (9mm), so we're good.  [thumbs up]

Update: pending confirmation that the bit length will not cause issues.

Nice job on rethinking the question, [member=48572]Shane Holland[/member]. That's one we can answer. [wink]

@Shane Holland, did this seek out with you guys already?! Had it in my cart and went to checkout and it's gone! Tried to add it and now out of stock! Was only 10 minutes after I got the email :(

No, we didn't sell out. These are pre-orders for December delivery. The ZOBO bits are the only thing we have in-stock currently.

There was a "blip" with our website that was causing an issue due to a bad setting on the Centrotec Set, preventing it from adding to cart properly, which has been fixed.

The Centrotec Set, TXS and SysLite II will ship on 12/1.

Got it this time Shane, didn't seem to work the first time for some reason. Thanks. Now, is it December 1st yet!! Can't wait!

Just a reminder...

Always FREE shipping on ALL Festool orders from us. Sales tax only applied to orders going to NY/VA. We do not bill your card until the order ships. 30-day money back guarantee on all Festool power tools + a three-year warranty.

PS - [member=39086]JBag09[/member], thanks for the order!

Shane is there anything under the left side the driver is in? The pictures only show the 3 sections, not the "4th" on the bottom left side.

Excellent question! No storage there. The plastic insert does not lift up on left side. Bit of a bummer.

Weird. Thanks for the quick response Shane!

I hope that there will be some other lower cost goodies made available (combo Systainers perhaps). Except for the 10 m Plug it cord, there is nothing under $195.00!

These new products neither interest me nor fit into Santa girlfriend's budget. It may be a Festool-less Christmas this year.

[member=4632]jimbo51[/member], I would be very surprised if there's anything else announced for 2015. As in, near-zero percent chance. Sorry.

Took me 5 seconds to decide to pre-order the installers set. I couldn't feel like I was doing it fast enough.

Just to clarify are the drills are going to be offered all the time correct. The only limited time is the installers set.
