I was glueing two pieces of birch plywood as part of making a drill press table and needed to put weight on it.  I discovered another use for my Systainers:

Hope this is helpful.

Nice!  At this works well with systainer with tools in them, or maybe just buy a bunch of systainers and load with sand or other dense objects.

Haha! I bet you can suggest just where to get those empty systainers!  [wink]

You bet!  I'll even give a quantity discount.

Funny thing.  I've been looking at a new backpack/every day carry for bike commuting and work.  I've considered how I could convert a systainer into a backpack or on my bike, but it just doesn't feel like the right tool for the job.  I've been thinking I'll get a GoRuck GR1 or GR2 rucksack.  I only recently learned about these backpacks and apparently there is a thing invented called 'rucking' which is carrying around large weights (iron weight, sand, water) and doing some intense hiking, running, crawling with the bag.  It is a thing.

So maybe we could invent 'systing' or 'systainering' or 'sysing' for those in the sport of looking like a tradesman or technician and slinging tools and materials in the fine art of craftsmanship.

I suggest euronorm boxes with flat bottom, as they put the weight down more evenly compared to just four small feet like Systainers do

YES!  I saw this on April 1.  I even had a couple people inquire if we would carry any of this at the Systainer.Store.  Oh I wish....
