New Warning ribbon under first post

Totally a waste of space so whatever you like, but it isn't needed. If anyone really thinks that will ever prevent or even help in a lawsuit they are dreaming. Stickers saying the same have been permanently attached to tools and companies still lose millions of dollars.

Personally, I would rather you limit the forum and make people sign up(like it was originally) and not be able to read the posts until they read the waiver and agree. Of course this will not happen as Festool wants everyone possible to read the pages.

If you really want it to count and are serious enlarge the font as I can barley read that on a 30 in monitor without my glasses.  :)

On the other hand, the help header on the tool problem forum is an excellent idea. I think this must be a new addition too.

OK so this is probably only funny to me.....

but I keep hearing this `voice` in my head........"DANGER Will Robinson! DANGER! DANGER!"

On a more serious note........
Someone decided that the banner was a good idea......... it is just several thousand more pixels of page........ so what. Of all the things that one must endure in the course of a day, is it really even a spot on the radar?

I am not saying that this is the case, but did it ever occur to anyone that maybe, just maybe , it was put there so that the powers that be might be a little less .........?

I sure hated to see this begin earlier today.  And I wish these type warnings could just go away for good.  They rally don't protect anyone from anything -- neither users, nor companies --  and just contribute to perpetuate this kind of nonsense.  But, I'll get over it just as quickly as I bypass all those warnings at the beginning of so many manuals.

What I do find a curious, however, is that there is no such warning following the OP in this thread...

Please, no letters or hate mail.  I just feel the need to vent my disapproval on these type warnings.

I believe that the message might be enabled for certain boards (areas) of the forum rather than being universal.
