As a CNC user, we know the pains you face when it comes to keeping parts in place. Well... Axiom Precision has several new clamp kits that'll help you avoid just this.

The Axiom Precision Lateral Clamp Kit can be held securely from the sides without causing damage, and works with a variety of design shapes and sizes leaving a clear path for cutting.

Axiom Precision's SureGrip EVA Spoil Boards offer more grip with less clamping pressure and features foam with a shore-C hardness of 80, so is resistant to indentation and machined well.

Don't miss your chance to secure Axiom Precision's new Lateral Clamp Kit and SureGrip EVA Spoil Boards and learn more about the benefits of both.

[member=75933]luvmytoolz[/member] Are you referring to the lateral clamps or the spoilboard? Do you have a picture of your setup?

I'm referring to the clamps, they're brilliant!

We can't easily find stuff like that here in OZ. I do a lot of very large 3D machining as shown by the pics, and although I have a very beefy aluminium t-slot top (240 x 40 x 5 profile) the clamps I use have maybe 60mm height reach max, so I rely on very agricultural methods to clamp down blocks as big a these!

Wow! That is some serious carving there! Thanks for sharing those pictures... love the character of greenmen.

On my own CNC router, I've had to make custom hold-downs using lengths of threaded rod when holding extra-thick material. Of course, if clamping from the sides, height capacity is not a concern.
