Hi Fogers
I'm in Monroe Michigan for 5 days / near Toledo I am told- any cool woodworking stores??

Thanks
Frank

The only places I know of are on the north side of Detroit. There is a woodcraft in Sterling heights. There's performance line tool in Waterford. There not a wood working store, but they do have nice selection of power tools including festool. Hope this helps

Woodcraft in Canton, Michigan. Full line of Festool, less than 20 miles from Monroe off I-275.
Rockler a little more drive up, maybe another 15 miles.

I grew up outside Toledo so Im familiar with the area.  My family and in-laws still live around the Toledo area.  I haven't found a Woodworking shop in the area thats too exciting.    The Woodcraft in Toledo is ok.  They made me mad recently when I went in with my cousin, he was looking for a miter saw for some small projects and they insisted that he buy the kapex.  I told the salesman that he uses the saw occasionally and he didnt worry about dust collection and or a broom bc there 3 in of saw dust of his garage floor.  He was very pushy and wouldnt stop.

Theres a shop off of Angola,  i think its call power tools sales.  They have some good carpentry tool.  I know the carry Occidental leather, stiletto and other higher brands.

If your into roller coasters go to Cedar Point!!!!  Roller coaster capitol of the world!!!!

Performance line tool in Waterford is a huge store with lots of items. If they carry Festool its practically the whole line and the same for Makita,Milwaukee and so on.  Very good store with about 30,000 SF of shopping.
