Hey all,

Not sure where to post this so, I'll do it here. My name is Drew, I'm currently using a couple Festool tools and thought I would drop in!!

Peter,

Thanks for the welcome! I have recently been given opportunity to apply the use of Festool products to my craft and what I can say thus far is, "incredible!!" For years I have used other, well-known, name brand tools in my trade and have given no more thought to them than, "They're all the same!" One thing I like to think is that after 25 years, the credit for the quality of my craft goes to me. But, like a driver racing around the track at 200 mph, he's only as good as his car!! The Festool products I currently have in my arsenal have in short time made my work measurably easier more efficient - adding a new level of excitement to what I do!!! And, when one spends 30+ hours washing and waxing a car, getting the best out of time and energy is $!!!

I hope you will all soon be reading a more exhaustive review and pictorial of my time with the Festool line.

Thanks again for the welcome and allowing me to share in your passion for your craft!!

Drew

Welcome, matey! Why not edit your signature to include the Festool tools that you own. That way, we get an idea not so much about what you have but what you need to get. ;)

I too have got wax. Lots of it in each ear. I'm thinking of putting it in a tin and selling it online. You interested? ;D

Yeah, not so much!!! Thanks for the suggestion!! I will work on my signature.

Thanks!!

You, coming from a totally different trade, will be able to offer us many new insights. and maybe we can pass on a few nuggets (golden I hope ;D) your way.
