WOW!!  Those are amazing.  Those seats are amazing.  You should be working for SI.

Tom,

Could you get some shots of Kronwall, Holmstrom, Williams, and whoever else needs to get back in the line-up. I saw your earlier work and I think the quality is in the shooter. If your new camera can get everybody that is injured back in the line-up I would really be impressed with it.  [big grin]

Those pictures are even more amazing given the fact that there is plexi glass in front of you and sitting really close to it will make your see a lot of glare..

The glass has small holes for professional photographers to shoot through.

Thanks Brice.......  I should have pointed that out to all the others.  Here is an example from todays game against the Blackhawks.  It IS actually smaller than it looks in the picture.  I shot that with a 15mm fisheye.    8)

So different from a game played in a Canadian venue.  I noticed a couple of empty seats in the stands.  [sad]

I remember last year's finales when a friend talked about getting tickets for game seven the day before the game. I laughed, said no way could he get tickets, surely they'd be long sold out and/or grossly overpriced. He said, no, tickets are available and at a reasonable price. Turns out Detroit has won so many Cups that no one up there seems to care any more. I guess they figured they'll have plenty of opportunities to see them win the Cup, again and again... Glad the Pens spoiled their fun. ;D

Sorta like it was when Lemieux and Jagr were playing here in Pittsburgh. I always thought I'd get to more games before they moved on. I'd love to able to go back.

The light must be bright!
What ISO and shutter speed did you use?

Thanks Michael.....  Those were shot at iso 400 at 500th, I was shooting using strobe lights....
