I was looking forward to a sale this year to pick up a sander or two. Bummer no Recon sale.

I share your disappointment! I thought that Sedge indicated that they were going to doing something with the  reconditioned site soon which I incorrectly took to mean Black Friday.

Now they want you to buy 3 sanders and a vac at one time. Never simple. Why can't they just sell one item, list them all?

I agree.  I know this is simpler for them, but you would think a company like Festool would be more customer oriented on these offers than all these weird groupings they are throwing together.

I'm enjoying these odd combinations of tools I either already have or don't need.  [big grin]

That combo is funny.  The 3 sanders.

Maybe they will have a package of a TS55, with 3 blades for a TS75, and 2 Batteries.

They can.

Why would you think that ?

Festool has never been customer oriented on pricing except for the Pro5 offer.  And they've as much said that won't be repeated.

Well I just look at it as Festool just trying another marketing strategy.

The 1st attempt was through the Festool dealers and I know that caused the dealers a lot of angst and sleepless nights while the customers howled in protest.

The 2nd attempt was over the internet which was supposed to level the playing field, however, because of varying internet speeds across the US and many dropped/late email internet connections, that solution also caused the customers to howl in protest.

So here we are at the 3rd attempt. The dealer connections have been eliminated, the email connections have been eliminated and Festool is now blissfully offering reconditioned product in silence. The customers however, aren’t necessarily howling in protest because a majority are unaware of reconditioned product being offered for sale, and all the while the 30 day returns keep piling up on Festool’s receiving dock.

Stay tuned for the 4th attempt.

And for the 4th attempt you get the real Festool Euro treatment - which means no recon sales at all.  [tongue]

They had some interesting items too bad the combos were things I didnt need. I was hoping for a DF 500 but i would have better luck seeing a unicorn  [big grin]

You forgot about my favorite - the Connect ReCon sale where the line stretched out for miles.
