Hi everyone,
I just bought an cheap second hand PS 300 EQ and thought it was a bit noisy for being a high end machine, and i was hearing som rattling metal part inside when i was shaking the machine (maby this is normal) but either way i took the machine a part to have
a look and i found a part that i was able to wiggle on a bit (See Youtube video), and i wonder if it should be able to move this part
like this?

Video:

Hope someone could help!

Nothing wrong with a bit of play here and there. But you're video is so focused on that part alone, it is difficult see what we're even looking at.

And power tools are noisy buggers. Doesn't mean there's anything wrong.

The linkages on the balancing counterweights attached to the reciprocating mechanism & the orbital cam will induce a slight rattle in even the best quality jigsaws.  It becomes slightly more pronounced as the layer of grease thins between adjacent (i.e. touching) metallic surfaces. You could possibly sparingly regrease (with a top quality moly product) if concerned.

Rest assured:  you have the most powerful and accurate jigsaw yet manufactured by the Company.
