I recently purchased an Earlex HV5500 and before it arrives, I've been thinking about how easy clean-up may or may not be.  Does anyone have any comments on that?

With the advent of non-stick products like Never Wet, could you coat the parts of the spray gun that touch finish to minimize clean-up?  If you haven't heard of Never Wet, take a second to look it up on YouTube.  You'll be amazed.  Anyway, does anyone think this is actually a good idea or am I overlooking something that this could be a disaster? Thanks in advance.

The Earlex guns are pretty easy to clean.  I have looked at Never Wet and will be getting some to try out on something else, but I would worry in this situation about introducing another chemical substance into the finishing area.

I have an Earlex and have actually left it overnight with paint in it (had a family emergency), needless to say, the Latex i had in it cleaned out nicely, even after 24 hours.

I bought one this summer along with a cleaning kit -- it's quite easy to cleanup, I do the entire gun at the utility sink under a faucet.

I'd be interested in this too.

I'm currently spraying lacquer on a guitar from a rattle can simply because clean up in between coats would be longer than actual spray time.

If I could leave it full at least all day while I spray coats, it would be great.
