Just a heads up to the IN, MI guys & gals that there is a festool dealer named Mishawaka Warehouse & Distibuting located in north-central IN.  They have a good showroom demo area that seems to be constantly expanding.  Passing the word on in case any of the other local Fes guys were unaware.

I wouldn't bet on it. A quick Google search shows that is the city nickname in the first paragraph.

Runhard - you're correct.  You would have no idea what they had just driving by.  I think a couple of businesses actually run out of that location.  If you check it out sometime you'll be surprised, they have a lot of Festool.  I was just there getting a centrotec set on Friday and they have all the new items in stock.  They are only open during the week I think, have to check on that.

It does look like a warehouse. Use gps on a smartphone. It will get you there.

After thinking about it I googled it. DUH.. I've traveled Rt3 a 100 times, never saw that, I'll have to stop next time. I'll take my wife I know she'll really appreciate a few hours looking at tools [big grin]

It's a really nice store. Their location is their downfall. Good service and a wide selection of good tools. I bought my sawstop from them. They also have by far the largest selection of router bits on hand. It's a great place to go when you're in need of something and don't have time to wait for it to ship. I try to support them when I can. There is no one else like them around here.

It's under new ownership and the new owners have been proactive about expanding and bringing in stuff like Festool.

I don't see anything wrong with the Oak Tree's location. Been in that building for a decade.

New owner and management have really turned it around.

All the money is on the north side of Fort Wayne anyway.

Just from the standpoint that it's off the beaten path and isn't very visible. I didn't know the place existed until this summer after I did a search online for something.

Do you just buy tools there? Didn't know if they have other services I didn't know about.

I have a relative in grad school there so I knew it before your post. 

Are there any noteworthy coffee roasters there that do not over rosy their beans? Prolly visiting there in March.

Our youngest daughter recently got married in South Bend. I can't stand Starbucks, so I had yo find another vendor. This shop was close to where we stayed and quite good.

I always wondered if there was any woodworkers in FT. Wayne to speak of because a few miles south in a Walmart shopping area there was a WoodCraft store. I was in there a few times but now it's gone. I don't know what happened to it a young couple was running it.

Sorry, I linked the wrong one.We stayed at the Double Tree South bend. The ceremony was in the pavilion on the St. Joseph River behind the art museum. I found Zen when I went for a walk the first morning we were there.

I remember going for a family style dinner at Amish Acres when I was a child with my family. For some reason I can still see the pot of bean soup and recall the taste. My wife has never been to Amish Acres, some day I'd like to take her there,  she wants to go to Shipshawna(?)---maybe some day.
