NOVA VIKING European version without laser?

Hey All,

Anyone knows why the Viking comes without a laser in Europe [eek] ? Apparently some regulation, but it sounds a bit absurt considering the number of laser equipped tools that are about there.

Regarding  the laser...

FEB 2021 PLEASE NOTE THAT THE UK MODELS HAVE ARRIVED WITHOUT THE LASER. TECHNATOOL HAVE REMOVED THEM AS THEY WERE PROVING INACCURATE AND UNRELIABLE IN USE. (latest information received 16th Feb 2021)

Still weird that “thats” the reason, while its still listed on the website:https://www.teknatool.com/products/drill-presses/viking/

I will write them, can’t imagine they are inaccurate only in Europe but not on the US  [blink]?
