I bought the Viking refurbed and unfortunately had a few problems with it. The column was rusted, the plate where the display was broken, one of the screw was stripped, the platform locking bolt wasn't correctly sized, laser was DOA, and some more I can't remembered. Is it worth $500 in saving? yea, the machine worked fine and I love it. I'm just OCD about my machine looking pretty when I paid a premium for it.
