Price increase?

There's rumors of a price increase coming in March. I heard somewhere about a 5% increase - not sure if it's across the board, just certain items, or what.

March?  Now, I thought that Festool had their yearly price increase here on April first -- kind of an April fool's joke, or something...

What ever they called it would probably have stopf in the name.  I personally, based on my needs, would love to have protection for the top of the Kapex during transportaion.  So here we have a stand that could stand upright or lay down during transport to the job, and I thought it would be a good idea to have a hard shell to protect the Kapex in case of it flipping over, things being dropped on it, etc.

Just a suggestion.

Hey Peter, what if the hard shell folded upwards behind the saw and acted as a saw dust hood when the tool was in use.  If you could catch those big chips that pass up the dust port it would increase extraction by quite a bit.

I have had my Kapex flip over a few times on me while going around corners....I get pretty ticked when it does.
