Hey everyone,
I primed an oak project for a customer (my wife) back in late winter and finally have been getting around to picking back up on it. It was recycling some old oak cabinet faces for a couple of decretive pieces and she wanted them painted off-white.
So I had primed them back in February with Sherwin Wall & Wood Primer after sanding them down to bare wood. All went well back then, sloppy thick coats to hide most of the grain, and I was off to the races. I pulled them out this weekend and saw that quite a few of them are now having the tannin color "bleed" through the primer coats. My ultimate question is, if I paint over them with SW ProClassic (Acrylic Latex) will it "hide" the tannins from bleeding through?
Thanks to all of you finishers in advance here!
cheers. Bryan
