OF 1010 & Old Basis A6 Question

Hello,

I hope someone has experience with the old Basis 6 module (not the 6A) . If i read the documentation i can find right the OF 1010 will fit in the Basis 6A. Only the OF 1400 and OF 2000 will fit in the old Basis 6.

Is this correct?

And if so, is there a way to fit the OF 1010 in the Basis 6.

Won't fit. The basis 6 was made for the larger routers. The difference between the 6 and 6a model (and 5 / 5a as well) is mainly in the fence, if I remember correctly.

You could try to adapt it using some parts of a 5a module, but that would mean drilling some holes in the base plate. For parts see the ekat. Any dealer can order these for you.

Might be easier to try and get a 5a module, they're available on markplaats.nl quite regularly, as well as on ebay.de. Or a bigger router.

Frans, thanks for the info, i will look for a used 5A or 6A.
