OF 1010 Router not locking properly

Hi I'm having an issue wit my OF 1010 Router. The last few days when I turn the knob to lock the router I have noticed when routing that it doesn't stay locked like it should. For instance it will rise when I have set it to depth start routing and I will notice it rise as I do my routing.

Today I was rebating a piece of mdf and on the final pass it went way deeper than it should have. I didn't have the depth rod but I had locked it into the depth I needed with the main know.

Is there anything I can do or check to make sure it stays locked with the know. It's way past the warrentry period as well.

I can remember when all I had do was turn the knob to lock it only a small bit and it would stay set. Now I have to turn it really hard and hope it stays locked.

no solution I'm afraid but mine has been doing that since i bought it

Mine used to do it , festool fixed it. Just get in touch with them I'm sure they'll sort it.

I took the knob apart today and unscrewed it all and the put it all back together and it seems to be ok now  [smile]
