OF 1400 - Broken Stop: Fix or Replace?

I broke one of the stops on my OF 1400. I hit it with the wrench with loosening the collet.

Would something like 4 minute epoxy work to glue the post?

Otherwise, from where is everyone ordering their spare parts? The Festool Spare Parts Dept 800 number? I've found it online at various prices from retailers I'm not familiar with:

I'd be tempted to use JB Weld. Perhaps grind off a little bit of the part that broke off to create a filet to fill with the goop.

The price shown on ekat is less than $20.
I personally would just call Festool and get a replacement. Part #435620

I’d just replace it for $20.

But if I was in a jam, Id make a steel peg that would fit in the recess of each half and then JB weld all 3 pieces together.

I can recommend M&M.  Used them lots of times, never a problem.

Funny. I noticed that shipping amount and clicked over to Tool Parts Pro where I placed the order.

I've got an unopened container of JB Weld so maybe I'll also try and fix the broken one.

Or loctite a rod in it.

Build up the JB Weld around the outside of the cylinder too, to give it more structural strength

Valid point. I don't know. I think I mostly used the middle or deepest stop. I never paid much attention to which stop was selected, just that it allowed me to get the depth I needed.

I’ll use 2 of them a lot of the time and sometimes all 3 of them for routing deep dados in wood or for slotting aluminum.

I use the highest one for setting depth for hinges, and all 3 when routing deeper mortices in steps.
