I purchased a used OF-1400 on January 2nd of this year from a fellow FOG member and I have used it on my first project this week and discovered that the Plunge Stop micro-adjust Knob does not rotate. It appears to be locked tight.
I have referred to both the owners manual as well as the supplemental instruction manual written by Rick Christopherson and cannot find any mention of this type of occurrence.
Is anyone familiar with this problem that might have a solution, or will I have to send the router to Festool Service for repair.
I was told that there is still about two years warranty remaining on this tool.

Not to insult-----

Have you tried turning it both directions? It could be up against the top or bottom of adjustment.

If you could take a picture looking straight at the adjustment post it.

Hi Tom,
Knob is frozen, will not move in either direction. Both Plunge Lock Knob & Depth Post Lock are unlocked if that has any impact. Here is a photo -

The stop is at top of travel. There should be a space between the 2 black parts.

My guess is its jammed tight, you need to turn it counter clockwise.

Thanks Tom,
I padded the jaws of a pair of gas pliers, crossed my fingers & viola! - unjammed it.
Much appreciate your help.
