Of 1400 Router Table on Youtube

The ideas for the top are interesting. Not crazy about the base - would like to see something more robust ... though I understand the legs have just been adapted.

The 90 degree flip is sneaky ... but the two tiny brackets and screws in conjunction with a folding table ...  [eek]

Did I see the really cool router table with the sets of guide rollers here on FOG. Can't remember.

It is not mine  but i thot it was worth posting.
the "X" stand can be pretty stable  (I use a DW 24001 wetsaw stand for my Incra Based table)
It is pretty innovative

Those Makita folding tables aren't the most stable, (locking the legs helps...) I've 4 of them- and I do use one for my portable router table set-up.
You gotta love theses homemade lifts, all these folks having to make up for the poor engineering of the routers themselves.
One plus for choosing the OF1400 for a table unit is it's stability- the locking handle binds both posts...unlike most routers that only lock to one post.

Pretty slick idea. Are you going to sell the plans for it? I can see it for about three or four different routers and set ups in my shop.
You should put a nut on the end of the crank so you can just push a small drill driver etc. to turn the crank to move the router up and down when you need to do large adjustments instead of turning the crank by hand.
Keep up the great ideas.

Yep that is a really nice design. I also love the Flip to 90 degrees. You put a lot of thought in to this one tehdoor

I will now have to rethink my router table construction.

Thank you for the inspiration
