OF 1400 Systainer Clips for bit storage?

I just noticed these clips in the top rear of the systainer that almost llok like bins could be inserted into the channels. It doesn't surprise me that festool would integrate the ability to add storage options in a systainer that has as much room as the OF 1400 router systainer and sell us the upgrade at a later date to make some more profit.

Does anyone have any ideas, information or suggestions for utilizing these lips in the systainer? I haven't heard of anything from festool about upgrades for the router systainer...thoughts?

I think that was called the SYS-FS rail, the Adapt-L brackets would fit it into it, then you could lash things to the adapt-l brackets.

I didn't see them last time I was on the Tanos website, can't imagine they were a big seller.  I thought the SYS-FS rail might have opened up some ideas for the aftermarket 3d printer crowd, but I'm not sure if it carried over to the systainer3.

Then you also need the bins to attach to the rail adapters. I think the bins from the Sys-1 TL Box

Some of these things are never explained anywhere very well... so no surprise it doesn't sell. The average person is not gonna dig through webpages and catalogi for an hour to get a bin in a box. (Read; I blame Tanos!!)

To be fair, the bin-holding feature was most likely an after-thought of the "why not" style.

That plastic piece which is included in Festool tool bundles is primarily a brace which is very much needed on the higher systainers to support the back.

The Adapt-L accessories were primarily meant for sliding outside the into the "sticker" slots so a stack of systainers can have a bunch of these placed "out" for easy access during an install etc.

SYS3 got away with the structural features of the sticker slots. I guess it was not used much to justify the complication as people did not want things over-hanging their systainer footprint.
