I'm kinda embarrassed to ask, but how and when would one use the different stops on the turret stop? I've got an older OF1000 and could never figure out when I'd use the different stops. I tend to use the one that gives me the "least" amount of plunge just so that the spindle is keep close to the motor housing to avoid deflection of the bit. Not that I'm really taxing the tool but its just my home spun OF1000 mythology.
Any applications where you'd use a longer or shorter stop? Stepped routing when doing a deep cut?
