I've got a OF1010, when using a bearing guide router cutter on an edge, the chip deflector always catches on the 90 degree edge corners, any tips on avoiding this

Cut off a bit more, so that the opening is over 180 degrees. Works well for me.

On the 1400 chip deflector there are lines to follow engraved into the plastic to increase the size, not sure on the 1010.

The engraved lines are also on the OF1010 chip deflector!

Do you mean the dark blue dust shroud that gets screwed into the base, or the clear plastic chip deflector that clamps on the side?

hi, yes I'm talking about the chip deflector that mounts where the guide ring would go, cheers for the help guys, I've trimmed the edges of the deflector and it does make it a bit eaiser to use
