A number of years ago I bought the OF1010 for one particular project. It was used sparingly on that project and put away in its Sustainer. I tried to use it today and saw the depth fine adjustment knob was positioned at 5, so I tired to adjust it to Zero but the knob would not move. I compared it to my OF1400 and that knob moves very smoothly.
I was reluctant to apply too much force to the knob so I called Festool support and they suggested using a pair of pliers to twist the knob. I gave that a try but it felt as if the knob would break before it would move.
Anyone have a suggestion about dealing with this other than using pliers?
