Of1400 base plate

Does anyone know if you can buy the metal copy ring with the threaded holes in that comes with the clip on 3mm thick base plate.

I thought it would be handy for attaching homemade jigs etc.

It's £18.52 from Nuts & Bolts as a whole unit though, so you could literally just unscrew it and use with your own templates.

I'll have to just buy the whole thing.

I seem to remember seeing someone on here that had used one on some sort of jig.
 
Putting some of your own threads in a copying ring would be the next closest, but they're £15ish anyway, so not really worth the hassle.
 
You might check with Pat Warner.  He has base plates for the 1400 with a centering part.  www.patwarner.com
