OF1400 Guide Rod Questions

I'll be getting an OF1400 in the near future and had a question about the connecting rods.  Looking through the documentation for the router, the guide rods do not appear to be part of the package.  However, the edge guide (492636) specifically says: "Attaches quickly and easily using integrated thumbscrews and two steel rods included in the router's scope of delivery", and the accessory page does not list any rods compatable with the 1400.  I think Festool has some updating to do to get everything consistent.

There is a set intended for the OF2200.  Are these supposed to work for the 1400 as well?  I actually have some guide rods from my Dewalt; they are 10mm diameter.  What size are the rods that are supposed to work with the 1400?

The question has been asked before, but in short, yes the guide rods come with the router.

And methinks you have to check 'replacement parts' instead of 'accessories'. Have fun with the router. I do.

Just for completeness, I received my OF1400 (574342) and it did in fact contain 2 guide rods.
