Ok, Fes(tool) up

The CT sold in the USA all only have a single power receptacle, grounded 20a/120v which can accept the more common 15a/120v male plugs. There is a function switch to select Auto start, which supplies current to the tool; Off, which does not supply current to the receptacle; Manual, which turns on the vac without supplying current to the receptacle.

As a consequence, in the USA if you want to use your CT as an extension cord, you will have the vac in action.

Somebody on Ebay was selling conversion kits to allow just that with the CT22's and 33's.

As for the Bosch - what'd did it cost you for the motor and board?

I've used my Bosch saw for years on my Fein Turbo II, but that vac has a much higher amperage rating than the Festool vac.

What's the amp rating on a TS75 or the big router?  Has to be close to what the Bosch pulls, right?

I think the cost of the Bosch motor and board was around 100.00 USD delivered. The armature looked fine to me so I didn't change it.
