Yeah, I've got several irons in the fire you might say.;)

Tom that is absolutely brilliant - I have one of those watches and I wear it every day in the workshop and I have even made a video about it!

Woo-hoo! Parf dogs arrived today in Washington state.:)
Have a small project in mind for these. Could be done with the mft fence but this should be quicker, and the timing is right.

I ordered 2x Parf Dog, 2 x rail dogs and 2 x bench dogs ten days ago. The status of my order is still "pending". I sent several emails to intelligent Workshop and to Tom Sustins... but they stay without response... I often purchase on internet and i never saw that. It's a shame. The customer service seems to be near of 0. I it's like that for the after-sales service... my god !!!

I'm annoyed because I really wanted to buy the Parf Dogs.  Angry

Hi Vince, I have just replied to your message on YouTube.....

"You are not the only one to be concerned about the service from Intelligent Workshop. I recently tried to make contact with the owner - I left 2 voice mail messages and sent a PM - and have still heard nothing. I allowed IW to make the Parf Dogs free of charge (I get nothing whatsoever) and they seem to be letting some people down. I have therefore agreed that they should be made by another company and I will be making the details clear very soon. It will be worth the wait."

The trouble with all of this is that I have no control over IW and they are just not able to meet the needs of all of their customers.

Please be patient - a really good solution is about to be made public and it is nothing to do with the previous post from John Bates.

it's not the end of the world but I found it undesirable. Over time the kerfed edges of the cut holes start to chip out a bit, which causes the MFT top to degrade a bit faster. With the Parf Dogs ability to replicate the top I guess this is self correcting.  [smile]

I like working on a smooth table without kerf slices so I always use a sacrificial piece of 1/4" MDF under my work piece -- that would especially eliminate the issue of kerfs intersecting the MFT holes.  
I see the collar height on the Lee Valley version will be 10mm or ~.390" which should easily accommodate the my sacrificial 1/4" plus the work piece.  Good job!
