Do the old systainer inserts fit in T Locs if you were to upgrade? Specifically im trying to put an installers set(the one with a million bits and drivers that came out a few years back) in a new T Loc. if anyone has any intel i would appreciate it, thanks Eric

Depending on the insert, it may require a tiny snip in the front centre - or potentially more modification. T-Loc inserts are available and aren't too expensive (for most things). It's really a trial and error thing. The ETS150 and C15 were minor tweaks, but the installers set could be a bit more messing about.

I also believe the different installers sets have varied inserts and are not ongoing product lines ... at least not in Oz.

I have one of the older Centrotec sets (#493633 - probably from 2007 or 2008) that came in a Classic Systainer I.  The insert will fit unmodified into a new T-Loc Systainer I, but the lid will not quite close all the way due to the design of the T-Loc's lid -- the reinforced area directly behind the front of the T-Loc's lid is the culprit.  [crying]  You would need to use a Systainer II instead...  but what would you do with the extra space?  [huh]

I just sold off most of my classics and bought a big stack of T locs, I did try fitting the old inserts in the T locs then decided to buy the real ones they fit much better. In your case though you might not be able to get a T loc equivalent for your installers set.
