Older 55 saw

I have an older 55 saw & it has a long cord that not detachable. Do they make a connector to shorten the cord so I could use the twist connector instead of unplugging the saw when I want to use a different tool. There gets to be too many cords underfoot when switching from one tool to another.

You are asking about the oft-desired Plug-It "pigtail" adapter... not available (in the US, at least).

That's what I'm looking for. That's too bad. I like the saw it has a metal platform instead of composite but the long cord is a pain......
