i cut the tendons in my thumb a few weeks ago and i was bolstered by your kind thoughts

here is an update

the splint is off and i can now drive but still am under orders not to lift anything heavier than 1 kilo

so im now into the difficult stage of the recovery, the thumb works, but i cant work because the tendons arnt strong enough yet

the good news is that going down the pub, lifting a pint glass and watching the football is no longer a problem  ;D

thats soccer to you lot  ::)  ;D

ps

thats warm beer and cold lager  8)

It's like a hernia, strictly take it easy, don't rush back. No matter how much beer you have to drink while you're waiting  ;D And don't pass out on top of it.

Glad to hear your on the mend mate, take it easy,  at least you have decent beer,  if I want a decent pint ( draft English beer) I have to drive 35 miles lmao. take it easy!!

Colin.

DD, at least you are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. This is the dangerous time when things start to feel better but are weak and yet we all try and do what the docs say don't so......................rest already.  ;) :D ;D Fred

Soccer??? that'll set you back, heal quickly!!!  Keep up those 16 oz curls.

Colin, I hope you don't drive 35 miles back afterwards.... :o

I always get my personal driver (the trouble and strife) to drive back.  DD Who do you fancy for the champions league? three English teams in the last 4 is amazing!

Colin.
