Oops.  I almost forgot.  One year ago today, 11 Foggers converged on Festool USA's headquarters to be part of the first advertised end user training class.

What a year it has been!  The eleven of us had a great time and offered our thoughts about future classes.  The classes have come to be and are fabulous.

Thank you to Festool for the classes, and I hope all future attendees have as much fun as we did and learn until your brain hurts  [scared].

if i ever win the lottery, i will be booking in for a festool class for sure!

I had the chance to attend the Intro/Basic course this past August and it was well worth the nominal fee.  Just the time spent on the MFT was well worth it as wells a few small tips that also made it worth it for me.  You also have access to every tool in the Festool line up!  If you can attend one, DO!  I can only do about one a year, but I hope Festool will continue the classes into future years because I will attend.

The only negative is that you come back with a long shopping/wish list.

I've attended cabinet & router classes earlier this year.  Both were fantastic experiences.  Festool was as open to learning from us as we were eager to learn from Festool.  All the great people at Festool and class attendees made it a very enriching experience.

Yes, I did come home with a bigger shopping list, too... [scared]

I attended the intro class last month, and it really was a great experience. Although really expensive, too; it's already cost me a Domino and an MFT/3.  [eek] I've signed up for the upcoming router class, too, and wondering what that one will cost me.  [big grin]

Mike, I didn't even attend and yet I have very recently got the Domino, domino assortment systainer kit and an MFT/3 all because Peter Halle posted some videos from a training session! Man! I think the guy is on commision. [eek] [poke]

;D  ;D

Got to say I love reading about/ veiwing videos from Festool USA's training days, they fill in many blanks that litter the catalogues and manuals (for shame Festool GMBH)

Peter,

I am putting together a short multiple choice quiz to see what you actually remember...

It was a year ago.  My yet to be born daughter at the time, is getting ready to turn 1 and her sister 5, on the same day. [big grin]

It was a fun time fo' sho' (as my almost 5 year old says).

It also reminds me of all the cool things I saw, that I still can't get yet. [poke]

Oh, it cost me dearly when I got home and ordered somethings. [dead horse]
