I was just going to go get a pack of smokes this morning and the next thing I know, I am loading up 6k pounds worth of strays.

The planer is a very late (mid 20's) American wood working machinery, no. 1 1/2 planer.  It is a direct drive, ball bearing, 3 knife gibbed head.

The place it came from bought it from my buddy (well probably his dad or grandpa) who owns Noble machinery in fort wayne.

The bandsaw  maker is still up in the air, however there is a emblem on it from a machinery company that little is known about, from fort Wayne too.

The jointer is a 12" Sidney Famous.  The fence and porkchop are in the back of my truck.  It's only real issue is the cutter head.  It is a clam shell, which is not a well liked head and someone has put grade 8 bolts in it....  Not sure what the fate of it will be.

I also picked up a belt lacer, a bunch of clippers and a bunch of leather flat belts.

Blimey...!

I have to ask. How many acres do you have under roof?

I mean...every now and then I try to squeeze something systainer sized into my shop.

But wathing the pieces of machinery you're adding to your collection makes me think you must have a stadium sized shop [eek]
I woldn't even get it through the doors in my shop  [big grin]

Kind regards
Henrik

Cool stuff, but what is with what appears to be lottery bills stuck to the band saw?

Handling steel in freezing temps? FUN!

I'm changing the sign on my shop to read "Central Coast Stray Tool Shelter"

They guys that worked in that shop would go together and buy lotto tickets and they started putting them on the wheel cover.

This stuff came from a 6th generation lumber yard.

I'm going to say those lottery tickets have been there since the mid 70's, back when Mi. first started the lottery.
