hi there,
i have a dewalt 718 that i cant afford to replace yet. i will get a kapex some day. i love the idea of rolling the stand in and flip it up and away you go working. does any one have both the ug stand and a dw 718 , could you try to work out if it will fit on the ug stand please. i know the wings wont fit but i might make some way for them to fit. how high is the body of the dw and the kapex from the top bed to the bottom where the brackets attach.

You will be creating alot of hassle.

1 the dewalt is very big

So a few things you would need to measure is the width of the base and depth because you will need to make some sort of jig so the legs will be parallel (plum) when set up.   Also der is bar which keeps the frame square well the dewalt has a large back and front and you could end up hitting the the bar when folding up the ug stand.

So I think trying to attach the ug adapter/bracket to the dewalt will be difficult or making your own /bracket

Sooo

I think the easiest way would be to attach let's say a rectangle bit of plywood onto the ug bracket and then attach the dewalt to the plywood this might be the easiest way of attaching the dewalt to the ug stand and you would be able to position the dewalt any where so it will fold away.

Edited:
About the ug extensions I wouldn't worry about the height of the dewalt when on the ug stand as it would be very easy to make your extensions to fit.  If it's lower which I very much doubt. You can cut the extension legs down as they are only a Single tube pipe.  Same making it higher you can easily get longer tubes and fix them to the extensions.

If you want you could get some adjustable plasterboard props and attach them to the extensions this means you can still use ur ug extentions on your MFT or cms.

If I was you I wouldn't bother with ug extensions as der are other supports out on the market which are height adjustable and come with adapters to attach to your dewalt

No Idea.  If you measure Your dewalt when you have it set at it's max angle on the base. So the width back to front and length side to side Guy ashly posted some dimensions to Peter Halle question and you can see if it's with in the sizes.
