Outdoor Oil Anyone?

I am restoring and refinishing my Big Green Egg cart to give to some good friends of mine.  It's made of Cypress and was under a cover for the vast majority of the time.  However, after 4-5 years, it's showing some finish wear and it's time to re do it.  I originally used an outdoor rated varnish.  I just saw where Festool has an outdoor oil made for such applications.  Like everything Festool, it's not cheap but is it worth it?  Does it have a color?  How about long term durability?

These are Ipe, finished with Surfix outdoor oil. So far so good.

No real color, it does darken the wood.

I like that look, especially the second, darker one.

What kind of oil is it?  Tung oil?  Walnut Oil? Some double secret concoction only some mad Festool scientist knows for sure?

Festool outdoor oil used in harsh Australia sun on my sons hardwood tables
And for 6 months it still remains perfect. We have very strong UV rays here so all good to report.

This is outdoor oil on mahogany plywood. Someone here asked what it looked like so......
